It was the morning of the wedding. I was so close. They were going to be married in just a couple of hours. Maybe Brayden was going to let it go, I thought.
I knew it sounded too good to be true.
When I read the note he left me, I thought I was going to lose it. He wanted me to meet him at ten o'clock at night. That punk was going to make me wait through the entire wedding and reception. Everything he had put me through wasn't enough. He was going to torture me some more. How anyone could be so sick and twisted was beyond me.
When I showed up ready to take him on, he surprised me once again.
Brayden gave me a choice. He was making me choose who was impacted by what happened between us.
