The Taylor Clan of bear shifters has been fighting with the Crimson bear shifter clan in the neighboring territory for months while the Crimson’ try to take over Taylor territory. Brothers Adam, Ezra and Jackson (Jack) Taylor have been protecting it as best as they can, and so far they have succeeded.
When Julia’s car breaks down on the border of the two territories, she is approached by the Crimson’s and feels threatened by their harsh demeanor. Afraid to get out of her car, she hides and tries to keep them from breaking the window until suddenly they are flung away and she sees a large man fighting them off.
When the man turns to face her, she almost stops breathing at how handsome he is while his gentle facial expression gives her the courage to get out of her car and meet this handsome man that just rescued her. He introduces himself as Adam Taylor, and he immediately calls his brother Ezra to come tow her car to his shop.
What comes next is a whirlwind of emotions and fear while she has to stay with Adam until her car is fixed, and when she finds out that Adam is a bear shifter she wants to run. Adam, the Alpha of the clan, refuses to let her go off by herself and gives her an ultimatum: either stay and marry him or accept an escort to her final destination. Knowing what she does, will she stay or will she go?
