Lady in the Tower: by Elizabeth Rose
Book 5

Rapunzel de Bar is one of seven siblings that has been cursed by the evil witch, Hecuba. She has been kidnapped by the old woman and kept in a tower that has one window and no doors. When she tires of waiting for her brothers to rescue her, Rapunzel decides to escape on her own.

One stormy night when the witch is away, Rapunzel uses her braid to lower herself out the tower window. She cuts her braid and falls atop a rider passing by below.

Sir Marcos Drago is on the tail of a man he's been hunting down for months when a woman drops from the sky and knocks him off his horse. She is beautiful, but he is furious that now he's lost his bounty as well as his steed. Marcos is the only son and one of the last dragonlords to walk the land, but no one believes in him - not even himself. He has lost everything in the past few years. His castle has been demolished and his father is a prisoner of his fiercest enemy, having a large ransom on his head. If Marcos can't find a way to collect the money, his father will die.

When Rapunzel's brothers hire Marcos to track down and bring home their sister, he thinks he has found the answer to all his troubles. But when a feisty, beautiful woman and magic are involved, nothing goes as planned.

Love knows no bounds, and sometimes a prison is not physical . . . but self-made.
