From A Hood Chick To A Billionaire's Wifey by Sha Jones

They say money can’t bring or buy happiness, but for twenty-nine-year-old Poetic, she’d rather shed tears in a Lamborghini than in a roach-infested apartment.

At just six years old, she painfully watches her father walk out on her and her mother, Shanice. The pain cut so deep that Shanice sank into depression and later died of a broken heart.

Poetic, along with the rest of her siblings has to find their own way. The lonely journey leads Poetic right into the strip club and into the arms of a man named Tripp, that has a striking resemblance to her father.

As Poetic grows, she begins to understand what was truly happening to her mother, and every time she allows Tripp to break her heart and put the pieces back together, she’s inching closer to the truth.

In comes Polo. A wealthy good looking billionaire with the world at his fingertips. He has a beautiful woman named Ivy and money long enough to stretch around the globe. The only problem is that he’s just not satisfied.

After running into the feisty and ghetto Poetic a few times, Polo can’t help his wandering eyes. She’s the total opposite of Ivy and the kind of woman he likes. He secretly has a fetish for hood chicks, and Poetic meets the criteria to a tee.

While Polo shows Poetic a different world and introduces her to the luxurious side of life. From the private islands and jets to runway shows and floor seats, Polo does it all. Poetic also shows Polo a different world. She feeds his soul, making him feel things he’s never felt before. His woman Ivy is starting to sense the change in her man, causing her to become very suspicious.

Even with a seemingly perfect relationship comes lies and secrets. Because Polo possesses what an average man could only dream of, he feels entitled to anything or anyone he comes into contact with. For strong-minded Poetic, this could become an issue.

Will Poetic finally find happiness in a billionaire, or will she be faced with the conclusion that men will be men no matter how much money they have?
