Killer Climates by Elizabeth Scott
When Iris is chosen to go to Argentina to participate in a study on climate change and global warming, the last thing she expects is to be introduced to her newest love interest, an Argentinian special agent named Mateo Vasquez. Regardless of complications between their differences in jobs, they find a way to connect and grow closer, even in the face of chaos.
Throughout her journey in Argentina and her studies regarding bacteria living in a nearby melting glacier, she learns that she has unearthed something that the government just might want and learns that the United States government may have had ulterior motives in sending her across the globe.
Will she keep her boss's secret agenda under wraps, or will Iris, with the help of her friends, unearth the secrets of the National Institute of Health and single-handedly prevent another world war from breaking out across the globe?
