Bobby Arglist is a sports agent looking to land the top quarterback in the pro football draft. But to score the client, he needs to win over John Hauser, a powerful rancher in Wyoming. Bobby's plan requires bringing his girlfriend Tammy to Hauser's ranch. And to win over Tammy, he goes to Changeman's Jewelry Store to buy her a necklace with an ancient amethyst. Mr. Changeman warns Bobby that when he puts the necklace on or takes it off of another, he needs to wear special gloves.

When Bobby ignores Changeman's warning and puts the necklace on barehanded, he suddenly finds himself in Tammy's body! And she's in his body. To change back, they each have to learn an important lesson. The only way to do that is to go to Wyoming and meet the Hausers. The lessons they learn there are ones they never expected.
