Pregnant With the CEO’s Baby by Astrophel D. Starless
James, a middle-aged, divorced, childless scientist, and Alvin, a young, single, childfree CEO, meet up at a corporate party. Both are introverts, both are straight, and both feel an instant connection with each other. They leave the party early and end up in James’ lab, wherein they act upon their feelings.Unbeknownst to either of them, James ends up with more than just pleasant memories after the fact. Shocked by what he had just done, and with whom, James spends about a month avoiding Alvin. Alvin, as heartbroken as he is by the apparent rejection, gives the other man space. After a month of cramps, feeling constantly tired and increasingly bloated with each passing day, James ends up getting sick right after a corporate meeting and throws up on the young CEO’s shoes in front of the entire office. Alvin, however, not only does not get angry. He insists on buying James lunch after helping him clean himself up.James reluctantly agrees, although he is already feeling humiliated on top of being constantly bloated, queasy and crampy. He is also wary of people in general, after his not-so-happy marriage. The last thing he needs is an office romance with his own boss – another man at that!Little does he know, accepting his own feelings, and the affections of the clearly smitten, patient and wealthy young man, will bring him all he had ever wanted. But not in a way he ever expected.***NOT omegaverse. A steamy MM mpreg age gap straight to gay romance (one character in his early 30s, one character in his early 40s).Both men are straight, have all the parts a healthy man should have, and neither one of them had engaged sexually with another man before. Be warned that the impregnated man’s body undergoes partial feminization as the story progresses. He develops breasts and his hips widen, to provide for and accommodate the new life growing inside him.The level of angst in this story is very low. Neither partner blames the other one for the unexpected development. There is no explanation as for how the pregnancy was even possible in the first place. It is just something life unexpectedly threw at the protagonists, and they try to deal with it together.
