James, a middle-aged, divorced, childless scientist, and Alvin, a young, single, childfree CEO, meet up at a corporate party. Both are introverts, both are straight, and both feel an instant connection with each other. Neither partner blames the other one for the unexpected development. There is no explanation as for how the pregnancy was even possible in the first place. It is just something life unexpectedly threw at the protagonists, and they try to deal with it together.
