Beyond The Wildflowers

On a beautiful Colorado morning in 1879 while Jamey Purdy is out collecting wildflowers to make into medicines for her apothecary, her tranquility is shattered at the sight of a shot-up cowboy just barely alive. Realizing that the shooting has to be tied to the troubles lurking back in town, she makes the momentous decision to hide Dolph in the apothecary. A letter sent to Dolph’s brother, Leif, results in the deputy sheriff arriving in Bear Claw to keep watch over his kid brother. As tensions build in the town and between Jamey and Leif, the pair find themselves attracted to each other but in conflict over the growing dangers in Bear Claw. Leif is hell-bent on revenge, while Jamey, after witnessing the murder of her husband a couple of years ago, believes in accepting life as is no matter how bad the circumstance rather than ever again face violence. With a little luck, they just might find love and a town they’re proud to call their own.
