Sonya Seron was a shapeshifter. She had been most of her young life. But, due to a botched kidnapping attempt several months back, she was now under the care of a grouchy, though seriously handsome werewolf, 24/7. Her big sister, Lynda, had made a huge sacrifice to save her from the rogue and his stinky buddies a few months back.

In fact, as much as the sisters had fought long before that event, Sonya half expected Lynda to let the bad guys keep her. But, she hadn’t asked to become part of a werewolf pack too, or to be given a bodyguard either. However, she didn’t want to be caught alone with her previous abductor ever again. Just the thought of it made her shiver.

Still, she longed to hunt the mountainous woods of the pack’s territory by herself. Sonya was tired of her relentless babysitter and his grouchy ways. He was a nice enough guy, but boring to a fault, and always following the Alpha's commands like a little puppy. But then….
