In this heart-warming series, Mail Order Brides for the Spring Valley Ranchers you’ll meet and get to know each of the courageous women willing to step into the unknown, into a new destiny, hoping to find a welcome change from their current situation. Little do they know, they all receive much more than they bargained for! You’ll also meet the fun-loving and often humorous crew at the ranch, each seeking a bride…for various reasons.

In this first book of the series, Christina, A Bride for Rancher Bryan, you’ll be introduced to Christina, a young widow, and her adorable three-year-old daughter, Abby. Christina has had a rough life, but now even more so, that she’s widowed with a young daughter. She’s been trying to make ends meet by cleaning houses and scrubbing her clients’ clothing. Thankfully, her good friend Ruby has been with her most of her life through thick and thin. And now she’s ever so grateful that Ruby is willing to look after little Abby while she works.
Ruby, however has had just about enough of watching her young friend struggle. She takes it upon herself to place an ad for Christina to become a mail order bride…without Christina’s knowledge. When Christina finds out by receiving news about a reply, she informs her dear friend that she absolutely has no intention of following through with this.

But…as fate would have it, lo and behold, she finds herself on a train to Spring Valley, Kansas, to meet Bryan, a young rancher…

While in the meantime…Bryan, with no intention of marrying any time soon, for some odd reason found himself answering an ad he was attracted to..an ad that kept popping up before him. He really wasn’t even one to look at those mail order bride ads. Thinking this was some sort of call of God, he figured it best to reply.

The two meet, and Christina’s main concern is that Abby will be cared for, which Bryan assures her will be the case. Christina loves the crew at the ranch, and they all adore her and Abby, and likewise. She feels like she’s part of a big family. She works hard, cleaning and cooking for the crew. And Bryan is very kind and considerate towards her. That’s wonderful, but the relationship between her and Bryan doesn’t seem to go any farther. There’s an awkwardness between the two, and they both each feel the other is just fine with having a relationship with no love.

What is the destiny of their relationship? Will they remain content just as good friends? Furthermore, when high fever strikes and prayer is the only answer, will Christina come to grips with trusting God?
