Harper pulls out of the competition, and Caleb insists she stay with him and his family at Ghost Lake. Harper’s furious manager calls and threatens to have her banned from the rodeo circuit, and Harper abruptly quits. That evening she and Caleb are nearly killed by someone who deliberately stampedes a herd. Caleb’s quick thinking saves them, and Harper’s murderous manager gets what he deserves. Now that she’s safe can Caleb let his wild cowgirl go? Or can he hold onto her heart as tightly as she’s roped his?
