The Mountain Man and the Geek by Sena Sage
Relieving myself behind a bush isn't my finest moment. But, a hot, rugged cop shining a spotlight on me during the act and seeing everything? Pretty sure I might die from humiliation.

I've been looking forward to my mountain getaway for months. A quaint little town. Beautiful scenery. Fresh Air. And, best of all, I get to give a talk at the local university about my favorite Insects. But as soon as I step foot in White River, everything starts going wrong. The hotel claims they lost my reservation, and there are no rooms available anywhere.

Then there's a little run-in with the law.

The “law” in this case is a hot cop who is determined to make me pay for the heinous crime of relieving myself behind a bush, which seems a little extreme. I mean, it’s not like I was robbing a bank or something. Nature called, and there was no convenient place to answer.

But Officer A-Hole acts like I'm on the FBI's most-wanted list and throws the book at me.

The joke’s on him, though, because throwing me in jail means he has to spend the weekend at the tiny local police station taking care of me.

Getting arrested sucks, but at least I have a bearded beefy cop to look at while I’m sitting in the slammer.

This is a short, cute, small-town Instalove romance with just the right amount of spice and a happily-ever-after ending.
