Finding Love Again by Jamie Lynn
Wren had everything, a husband he loved and who adored him, a son, and their babies’ mother who was an essential part of their life. He had everything he had ever wanted, until his husband started coughing. Year after year he fought for his life with Wren at his side. Just after the loss of his husband, Wren loses his son's mother, who had supported him and helped raise their son. His husband had been a tattoo artist and a body piercer and Wren as both his muse and his greatest masterpiece. Unable to get and hold down a job because of peoples prejudices about his appearance. Wren struggled to keep a roof over Robin’s head. Facing living in their car again, Wren gets a job as a pizza delivery driver in town. Part of his job was to deliver pizzas to the shifter reservation; little did he know it wasn’t only pizzas he was delivering to the reservation that day.
Luke, a low ranked beta shifter, had virtually no resistance to alpha force and no dominance. This led him to be continuously abused by the alphas of his former pack. Fate brought him to Dry Lake, but with little self-esteem and having endured years of abuse, Luke believed he would never find a mate. He worked hard for Dry Lake and was a popular male around the pack but he had never found love. He had no idea that one pizza could change his life forever.
Note: Luke appears as a minor character in many other Dry Lake Pack books. In book one his name appears as Lucas, but in other books his name is Luke. This discrepancy had been fixed, but during an edit of book one, his name somehow was changed back to Lucas. You might remember him as the male that drove Rohlin from the crew’s apartments to the pack for the first time. He also lived with the crew when they first joined the pack.
