William King has finished his studies in the city, determined to find a way to take care of people and animals for the rest of his life without leaving his beloved Amish faith. In order to do that, he takes a chance and accepts a job opportunity as a horse trainer for a family in a local Amish community, tending to their horses and coming to know their beautiful young daughter, Margaret.
