“What is it, Emma?” Daett’s tone was quick and firm. His daughter looked terrified. “What is it?”

Aaron is content with his life, taking care of the community’s animals and teaching children to do the same. Riding lessons are his favorite way to connect with people, at least until he meets beautiful Lyddie.
